Vadas, Puhala earn PAC weekly honors
Robert Hayes TRAFFORD, Pa.–Westminster freshmen Meghan Vadas (Youngstown, Ohio, Austintown Fitch) and Zoe Puhala (Brockway, Pa., Brockway) were named Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week Tuesday afternoon. Vadas was named the PAC’s Field Athlete of the Week while Puhala was named the PAC’s Newcomer of the week. It is Vadas’ first weekly award. Puhala was named the PAC Indoor Track & Field Newcomer of the Week twice (Jan. 20, Feb. 10). Vadas posted a pair of top-12 finishes at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge last Saturday.
