According to multiple reports, including one from the Field of 68, UNCG will hire Jerod Haase as their new head basketball coach. This has been an interesting search…I mentioned Haase here back on 3/10 (Daily Dirt), but it later sounded like UNCG had moved onto other candidates. Apparently now Haase is the choice, inking a reported 5-yr deal. The former UNC and Kansas assistant had been the head coach at Stanford (2016-24), and UAB (2012-16).
