Providence, R.I.— Rhode Island College junior guard Abby Wager (Mansfield, Mass.) was named Third Team All-Region by the New England Women’s Basketball Association (NEWBA) for her performance during the 2025-26 season. Wager was previously named Second Team All-Region 2 by D3hoops.com, the Little East Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Little East and to the league’s All-Defensive Team. She played in 26 games, starting all of them. Wager averaged 14.2 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 3.0 apg, 2.1 bpg and 1.9 spg.
