Men鈥檚 Golf: Raiders Finish Sixth at Marlins Invitational to Kickoff Spring Season
By: Brendon Reese VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. 鈥� Mount Union’s men’s golf team finished in sixth place at the Marlins Invitational at Cypress Point Country Club to kick off their spring season. The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 633 (323-310) which was just three strokes back of fifth place Randolph Macon. Pfeiffer and Virginia Wesleyan finished in a tie for first with a team score of 611. Sophomore Vincent Borros (Strongsville) led the way for Mount Union finishing with a 36-hole score of 157 (82-75) with freshman Austin Mariani (Kinsman / Badger) finishing with a 159 (78-81). Junior…
