Medina Named to NCAA Division III Region 9 First Team
GALESBURG 鈥� Knox College guard Bria Medina continues to collect honors after her season ended. On Monday, Medina was named to the NCAA Division III Region 9 First Team, an honor recognizing the top players in the region for exceptional performance throughout the season. Medina is the first Knox women’s basketball player to ever earn a first-team honor. Medina was second in Division III in points per game this season, averaging 23.6, while her 614 total points were fourth. Her 199 made free throws led the county.
