IU Indy Edges B-CU 4-3 in DeLand
DELAND, Fla. – The Wildcats put together a strong performance but ultimately fell to IU Indy 4-3 at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center. The Jaguars (4-3) and Wildcats (2-8) split the doubles matches with B-CU's top duo of Rosalida Asumwa and Maria Romero Vargas grabbing a 6-2 victory. IU Indy was awarded the point as B-CU did not field a third pairing. The Cats outplayed the Jaguars in singles play, winning three matches while losing two. Asumwa, Romero Vargas, and Zahara El-Zein each picked up two-set victories. El-Zein was particularly dominant, dropping just three points to the Jaguars' Calli Sokolowski....
