Hunter Falls Short in Season Opener
QUEENS, N.Y. – The Hunter College men’s tennis team opened its 2026 campaign Saturday afternoon, falling 6-1 to Thomas College despite a strong showing in doubles play. The Hawks (0-1) came out sharp to begin the match, securing victories at the top two doubles positions. Jason Parmar and Alexander Hagiu earned a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, while the duo of Odin Dibra and Savio Francis matched that scoreline with a 6-4 victory at No. 2., giving Hunter a 1-0 edge heading into singles competition.
