Hood tops UNE low-scoring 6-5 decision
Statistics FREDERICK, Md. – Two fourth-quarter goals by Hood College allowed the Blazers to escape victorious, 6-5, in Tuesday evening’s low-scoring battle with the University of New England men’s lacrosse team. The Nor’easters (3-5) recovered from a 4-1 second-quarter deficit to tie the game, 4-4, late in the third quarter. Jt Harich put Hood back on top early in the fourth and Danny McElroy extended the lead with 1:10 to go, before Stephen Fogarty scored his second of the night to return the deficit to one with under a minute remaining.
