Gettysburg鈥檚 Gillus named D3hoops.com Region 5 Rookie of the Year
LANCASTER, Pa. 鈥� Caleb Gillus (Falls Church, Va./Sidwell Friends School [D.C.]), a freshman on the Gettysburg men’s basketball team, has been named the D3hoops.com Region 5 Rookie of the Year, announced on Monday. The Centennial Conference (CC) Rookie of the Year and honorable mention all-conference player, Gillus started all 23 games in which he has played, averaging 11.3 points per game. The guard has also dished out a team-high 71 assists to go with 22 steals. He is shooting 37.2 percent from the floor with 25 3-pointers.
