Emma Tranter Claims Third HCAC Player of the Week Nod
Emma Tranter has made a pretty strong opening statement during the first year of her collegiate tennis career. This past weekend, her play spoke louder than ever. The freshman helped lead Franklin women’s tennis to its biggest win of the season, a 4-3 home triumph over Hanover. The victory snapped a 17-match series losing streak and was the Grizzlies’ first conference win over the Panthers since 2012. For her efforts, Tranter was selected as the HCAC Player of the Week.
