Claycomb Ties for Medalist Honors; Cards Finish in Second
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Junior Cooper Claycomb shot a final round 70 to tie for medalist honors Tuesday at The Michael A. Marino Classic at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club. Claycomb finished with a 10-under-par 206 to tie with Coastal Carolina's Max Bengtsson for the tournament championship. It was the first win since Sebastian Moss won the Calusa Cup during the 2024-25 season. As a team, the Cardinals finished in second place just four shots behind ACC foe NC State, which won the event at 15-under-par.
