Becca Lacina and Kendall Phelan recognized with weekly lacrosse honors
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Becca Lacina and Kendall Phelan of the Augustana Vikings women’s lacrosse team have secured spots in this week’s CCIW Student-Athletes of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. The two earned this honor after their performance in the wins over the Beloit Buccaneers and Marian Sabres this past week. Offensively, Lacina totaled seven goals and 10 assists for a total of 17 points. In the victory over Beloit, the sophomore earned three goals, five assists, five ground balls, two caused turnovers, and won a draw control.
