Atkinson Named MAAC Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Offensive Player Of The Week
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Merrimack junior attack Lindsay Atkinson has been named the MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. Atkinson, who earns the honor for the second time this season, recorded 10 goals and two assists during the two-game stretch. The Franklin native played a key role in Merrimack extending their win streak to three games, including last week’s victories over Radford and Presbyterian. Atkinson is tied for first on the team in points (29) behind 19 goals and 10 assists. The Warriors (3-5) return to action against the University of New Hampshire at Duane Stadium on Wednesday.
