MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine women's basketball (19-12, 10-8 WCC) will be hosting the first round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament Thursday night, the tournament announced Monday morning. The Waves will host UC Davis (23-10, 15-5 Big West) out of the Bay Area March 19 at 6 p.m. The Aggies finished third in the Big West, behind UC Irvine and UC San Diego. If Pepperdine wins Thursday night, the team would face Southern Utah this weekend.
