AMHERST, Mass. – Senior Ella Faessler and graduate student Renata Farima were named Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday evening. The duo received the weekly honor for the first time this season. On a 2-0 week for UMass, Faessler and Farima went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles. The pair clinched the doubles point over Bowling Green with a 6-1 win, before downing Eastern Michigan, 6-1, to clinch the doubles point once again.
