Eagles fall short versus Titans on Spring Break
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. 鈥� Spring Break action for Women’s Tennis kicked off Monday morning. They took on the Illinois Wesleyan Titans. The Titans (9-6) got the better of the Eagles (13-6) in a 6-1 affair. HOW IT HAPPENED – Evelyn Taylor / Hattie Plenty conceded a 7-5 defeat in top double billing. Sophia Perret / Lauryn Krober dropped a 6-3 result in the second slot, before Christina Ekkela / Kaitlyn Narkis were knocked down 6-2. – Taylor bounced back with a strong showing in top singles, winning 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (12-10).
