SAHUARITA, Ariz. — Meet Aiden Jackman, a soccer player and senior at Walden Grove High School.

School: Walden Grove Boys Varsity and Vail Soccer Club
What are your personal goals within your sport/athletic dreams?
Aiden Jackman: I have always just tried to develop each year. I look at what I can improve and have enjoyed improving each year. I have always wanted to be good enough to play high level soccer and have loved doing that at Walden and on my club teams.

Do you have a pregame ritual you follow?
Jackman: I have a pregame playlist I like to listen to. I also say a prayer before each game to help me feel confident.

What has being a member of a team taught you?
Jackman: Every person has to do their part if the team is going to be a success. Nobody can win a g
What is the best piece of advice you received from a coach or mentor?
Jackman: My dad always reminds me that nothing happens overnight. Development takes time and effort and it鈥檚 easy to feel like you’re not getting better. But, if you put in the work, when you look back you will see progress.

What do you love about your sport?
Jackman: I love that soccer is not predictable. No game is won or lost until the final whistle is blown.
What do you like to do outside of your sport?
Jackman: I love all outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hiking. I am always up for an outdoor adventure.
