1. Ty Cobb, CF (1905-26)
Regarded as one of the best MLB players of all time, Cobb played 22 of his 24 seasons in Detroit, leading the AL in batting average 12 times. He earned his lone MVP in 1911 behind league-bests in runs, hits, doubles, triples, RBIs, stolen bases, batting average and OPS. Cobb remains the Tigers’ all-time leader in numerous statistical categories with a 145 WAR, .368 batting average, 2,087 runs, 3,900 hits, 869 stolen bases and 1,811 RBIs.
