1. Nap Lajoie, 2B (1902-14)
Lajoie was one of Cleveland鈥檚 first stars, spending several years of his tenure with the franchise as a player and manager. Lajoie led the big leagues in batting average, hits and WAR multiple times while in Cleveland. His .340 career batting average ranks third in franchise history, while he also ranks fifth in career stolen bases (240), third in RBIs (919) and remains the franchise leader in hits with 2,052. The five-time American League batting champion became a second-ballot Baseball Hall of Fame inductee about 20 years after his playing career concluded in 1937. He was also inducted into the Guardians Hall of Fame several years later in 1951.
