Dug McDaniel transferring: 5 landing spots for K-State guard

McDaniel has a couple of ties to UConn that could sway him to Storrs if Dan Hurley shows interest. First and foremost, UConn was one of McDaniel鈥檚 most notable offers during his high school recruiting process. Secondly, playing in Storrs would reunite McDaniel with former Michigan teammate Tarris Reed Jr. Regardless, McDaniel would provide the Huskies with a deeper and more talented backcourt than they had this past season. Hurley has already added Silas Demary Jr. and Malachi Smith in the portal. Putting McDaniel alongside those two and the returning Solo Ball could return UConn to a national championship level.
