Rick Pitino is interested in adding a forward, as evidenced by Dillon Mitchell’s plan to visit the Red Storm this weekend. Mitchell will likely have other suitors, though, and Watkins brings a similar level of experience with him to whatever team he lands with.
St. John’s will be defending a Big East Tournament crown, and with RJ Luis Jr. headed out, it will need a reliable scoring threat.
