In announcing his entry into the transfer portal, Mitchell left the door open to return to the Bearcats. He was Cincinnati’s fourth-leading scorer, but Wes Miller’s best all-around player this past season.
Bearcats fans are crossing their fingers that Mitchell decides to stick around in an otherwise bare cupboard. Miller has missed out on the NCAA Tournament during each of his four seasons in charge. He should feel the urgency to convince Mitchell to come back.
