Elijah Saunders transferring: 5 landing spots for Virginia starter

Saunders played his high school basketball at Sunnyslope (Phoenix, Ariz.), and could return to his native state.
Basheer Jihad transferred out of Tempe on Thursday, opening a spot that Bobby Hurley will have to fill. Hurley’s already added Cal State Northridge transfer forward Marcus Adams Jr., but Saunders could add to the team’s rotation as a secondary scorer.
