Daimion Collins transferring: 5 landing spots for former 5-star F
BATON ROUGE, La. (BVM) – LSU forward Daimion Collins has entered the transfer portal after two seasons with the Tigers.
Collins is a former five-star prospect who was ranked in the while playing at Atlanta High School in Texas. The 6-foot-9, 200-pound forward began his collegiate career playing for John Calipari at Kentucky.
After seeing limited action in two seasons in Lexington, Collins transferred to LSU but had his junior season cut to just six games after dislocating his shoulder. Collins returned this season and was an impactful player for the Tigers, starting 22 of 30 games while averaging eight points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.
While he hasn’t lived up to the hype he had coming out of high school, Collins has proven that he can play a valuable role at the high-major level, and should generate a fair amount of interest as he leaves Baton Rouge. Here are five landing spots for Collins.
