JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (BVM) – Jacksonville State guard Jaron Pierre is in the transfer portal and could be playing for his fourth team in five seasons in 2025-26. Pierre has also declared for the NBA draft while maintaining his college eligibility.
Jacksonville State guard Jaron Pierre Jr., the Conference USA Player of the Year, has entered the transfer portal. Averaged 21.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists, shooting 38.2% from 3-point range. Hit 30+ points six times, including 30 against Georgia Tech in the NIT.

The Louisiana native began his collegiate career as a part-time starter at Southern Miss and spent his junior season at Wichita State, averaging 10.6 points.Â
Pierre took his game to another level at Jacksonville State this season, averaging 21.6 points, the fourth-most among all Division I players, while being named Conference USA Player of the Year. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound guard also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 42.4% from the field and 38.2% from 3-point range.
