The Badgers exceeded expectations this season despite not having a true point guard to guide the offense. Daniel Freitag was expected to take over the role next year, but his decision to enter the portal has left Wisconsin needing a transfer to fill the position. Head coach Greg Gard and associate head coach Joe Krabbenhoft showed significant interest in Holloman during his initial recruitment and can offer him a starting role in the backcourt alongside rising star John Blackwell.
