Aday Mara transferring: 5 landing spots for 7-foot-3 UCLA center
LOS ANGELES (BVM) 鈥� The UCLA Bruins made a splash landing New Mexico star Donovan Dent, but the program then lost guard Sebastian Mack and center Aday Mara to the NCAA transfer portal. Mara was a fan favorite in Los Angeles at 7-foot-3 and was expected to start next season.
Mara was a five-star recruit in the 2023 recruiting class out of Zaragoza, Spain, but he only started nine games in two seasons at UCLA. He averaged 6.4 points, four rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 13 minutes as a sophomore.
The Big Ten center should draw interest due to his size alone. These schools are the ones to watch.聽
