Nijel Pack transferring: 5 landing spots for 6th-year point guard

MIAMI (BVM) – Nijel Pack plans to enter the transfer portal after three seasons with the Miami Hurricanes. Pack is seeking a medical waiver that will allow him to play a sixth season of college basketball in 2025-26.

Pack was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2020 out of Indianapolis when he began his collegiate career at Kansas State, averaging a career-best 17.4 points as a sophomore. After transferring to Miami, the 6-foot guard helped lead the Hurricanes to the Final Four in 2023, averaging 13.3 points and 3.6 assists.

Pack put up similar numbers across 25 games in 2023-24, but suited up in just nine contests this season before sitting out with an ankle injury, averaging 13.9 points, 4.3 assists and three rebounds.

As an experienced veteran leader who has shot over 40% from 3-point range during his collegiate career, Pack should garner interest from teams looking for a reliable point guard in the portal. Here are five landing spots for Pack.
