The Huskies are undergoing a full rebuild after finishing last in their first year in the Big Ten and losing nine players to graduation or the transfer portal. Head coach Danny Sprinkle will rely heavily on the portal to replenish the roster and is expected to have a substantial NIL budget to do so. Washington is the closest power conference program to his hometown in Sammamish and can offer him a starting role.
