SPOKANE, Wash. (BVM) 鈥� Gonzaga guard Michael Ajayi has entered the transfer portal after one season with the program.聽
NEWS: Gonzaga's Michael Ajayi — the WCC's leading scorer and an All-Conference 1st Team member in 2024 — will enter the transfer portal, CAA Basketball's NIL Division told ESPN. Ajayi averaged 17.5 points, 10.2 rebounds per game, shooting 47% for 3, at Pepperdine in 2023-24.

The Washington native spent his first two collegiate seasons at Pierce Community College before gaining national attention with the Pepperdine Waves, where he scored a conference-high 17.5 points per game to earn first-team All-WCC honors as a junior. He transferred to Gonzaga for his senior year, where his production declined to 6.5 points in 18.9 minutes per game.
Despite the drop in numbers, Ajayi is expected to be a highly sought-after player in the portal and should draw interest from several top programs. With one season of remaining eligibility, here are five schools that could pursue the 6-foot-7 guard.
