Williamson was born in Latvia and played most of his high school career at Riga State Gymnasium No. 1. He played one postgraduate season at St. Thomas More School in Connecticut before joining the Bison as an unranked recruit. The 7-foot center transformed into a dominant force and earned the 2025 Patriot League Player of the Year award by averaging 17.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists on 53.8% shooting from the field.Â
