Elliot Cadeau transferring: 5 landing spots for UNC point guard
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (BVM) 鈥� North Carolina point guard Elliot Cadeau was the No. 8 player in the 2023 recruiting class after reclassifying from the 2024 class, according to . The 6-foot-1 playmaker started 68 games over the past two seasons, averaging 8.2 points and 5.1 assists.
reported Tuesday that Cadeau will enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Cadeau has not lit the world on fire in the ACC, but the former prized recruit improved as a sophomore, most notably as a perimeter shooter. He shot 33.7% from the 3-point line this season compared to 18.9% as a freshman.
He has plenty of potential to tap into and he should attract top schools in the portal. These are the ones to watch in his recruitment.
