Malik Reneau transferring: 5 landing spots for Indiana forward
Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia has also been rumored as an early transfer destination for Reneau and is a logical landing spot. Reneau originally committed to Florida while in high school during Mike White鈥檚 tenure in Gainesville. White has since coached at Georgia the last three seasons and has the Bulldogs on the rise after winning 20 games and reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015. The Bulldogs could use more depth in their frontcourt to take the next step in the SEC, though, particularly with star freshman Asa Newell likely leaving for the NBA. Georgia has a couple of skilled top-100 recruits coming in, Jacob Wilkins and Kareem Stagg, and should return forwards RJ Godfrey and Dylan James. Still, Reneau would be an upgrade offensively for Georgia and could ultimately thrive in the more up-tempo environment of the SEC.
