Bryce Hopkins transferring: 5 landing spots for All-Big East forward

Wisconsin is the lone Big Ten team on this list, but Hopkins鈥� physical style would seemingly fit well in the conference. Hopkins, a native of Oak Park, Illinois, would also return closer to home by joining the Badgers. Greg Gard hasn鈥檛 dipped into the transfer portal often, but he has hit on good players when he has, bringing in AJ Storr in 2023 and John Tonje last offseason. Gard will likely need to utilize the portal again this year with several impactful seniors departing, including Tonje, Steven Crowl, Max Klesmit, Kamari McGee and Carter Gilmore. Crowl and Gilmore鈥檚 departures could be the most impactful for adding Hopkins, who the Badgers offered out of high school, as he can help mask some of their production in the post. He would also help fill the scoring void left behind by Tonje alongside Nolan Winter and John Blackwell.
