Serah Williams transferring: 5 landing spots for All-Big Ten forward
MADISON, Wis. (BVM) 鈥 Wisconsin forward Serah Williams has entered the transfer portal and will likely be one of the top players on the move early in the offseason.
Thank you Coach Mo and coaching staff for the past 3 years
Thank you Wisconsin and the Badger community for all of your support. I'm super blessed and grateful
With that being said, l've decided to enter the transfer portal鉂わ笍— Serah Williams (@SerahWilliams25)
Williams grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and concluded her high school basketball career at Niagara Prep in Ontario. She made an immediate impact with the Badgers as a Big Ten all-freshman team member in 2023. As a sophomore, Williams averaged a double-double and was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference performer.
Despite Wisconsin鈥檚 lack of team success, Williams maintained her impressive play in 2024-25, averaging 19.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 blocks while earning All-Big Ten first-team honors for the second consecutive season.
The 6-foot-4 forward鈥檚 ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor makes her an intriguing entrant into the portal, and several of the top programs across women鈥檚 college basketball could be interested in adding her. Here are five landing spots for Williams.
