Tallest women’s basketball players of 2025 March Madness

(BVM) – The tallest players in the 2025 women’s college basketball NCAA Tournament are poised to bring talent that’s head and shoulders above the rest.

Here are the top five tallest women’s college basketball players entering the tournament. Note that players who have averaged fewer than 10 minutes per game have been excluded, as they are unlikely to play significant roles in March Madness.

Phillipina Kyei, Oregon DucksÌý

At , Oregon Ducks center Phillipina Kyei is the tallest player poised to make an impact during March Madness.Ìý

Averaging 19.1 minutes per contest, Kyei has been a steady force all season. She delivered a dominant performance against Rutgers last month, posting 20 points and a career-high 25 rebounds – good for the ÌýÌý

A fourth-year senior, Kyei could soon join the WNBA ranks as one of the tallest active players, trailing only 6-foot-9 Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner.Ìý

The center has been a defensive powerhouse this season, ranking

Prince is putting up at least 17 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per game this season. Her height and defensive skills have earned her a spot as a semifinalist for Naismith Women’s Defensive Player of the Year.Ìý

Lauren Betts, UCLA BruinsÌý

Betts, a junior center, towers over the competition as one of the top two most impactful players for the women’s NCAA Tournament. She is a player of the year candidate and a big reason why UCLA has emerged as the No. 1 overall seed.Ìý

Her size helps her dominate offensively but also on the defensive end – as evidenced by her of 19.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.9 blocks.
