Back-to-back national champion UConn hasn鈥檛 had the season it expected, but the Huskies are back in the Big Dance as a No. 8 seed and will face Oklahoma in the first round. While the Huskies are far removed from the dominance they have had in the last two NCAA Tournaments, they remain a threat in part thanks to their freshman star, McNeeley. The 6-foot-7, 210-pound forward has been a catalyst for UConn鈥檚 offense this season, showcasing strong ball-handling ability and court vision at his size. Room for improvement remains when it comes to McNeeley鈥檚 shooting where he is at 39.1% from the field and 33% from 3-point range, but he is solid around the rim, averaging 14.5 points this season along with 6.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. McNeeley has an NBA-ready body and style, and his game should only get better with greater efficiency.
