5. Conor Essenburg, LHP/OF, Lincoln-Way West
Essenburg was a highly effective two-way player for the Warriors during his sophomore and junior years. He posted a 1.69 ERA with 185 strikeouts in 95 innings while recording a .368 batting average with 61 RBIs and 10 homers in the two seasons combined. Essenburg will aim to lead Lincoln-Way West to a second-consecutive Class 4A sectional finals appearance before joining the Kentucky Wildcats to continue his baseball career.
