10 bubble teams with best chance to reach 2025 NCAA Tournament
1. Baylor Bears
Baylor feels like the safest bet to make the tournament among teams on this list and the Bears could become a virtual lock with a home win against Houston to close the regular season. Baylor should also face a high-quality opponent or two in the Big 12 tournament, where wins could further boost its resume and perhaps propel the Bears to a No. 9 seed. Baylor picked up a pair of important non-conference wins early in the season against fellow bubble team Arkansas and St. John’s. The Bears’ Big 12 victories over Kansas and West Virginia were also significant. If battle-tested Baylor can reach the Big Dance, it may have as good of a chance as any bubble team to make a deep run thanks to the championship experience Scott Drew has and having two of the Big 12’s best players on its side with Norchad Omier and VJ Edgecombe.
