1. Baylor Bears
Baylor feels like the safest bet to make the tournament among teams on this list and the Bears could become a virtual lock with a home win against Houston to close the regular season. Baylor should also face a high-quality opponent or two in the Big 12 tournament, where wins could further boost its resume and perhaps propel the Bears to a No. 9 seed. Baylor picked up a pair of important non-conference wins early in the season against fellow bubble team Arkansas and St. John鈥檚. The Bears鈥� Big 12 victories over Kansas and West Virginia were also significant. If battle-tested Baylor can reach the Big Dance, it may have as good of a chance as any bubble team to make a deep run thanks to the championship experience Scott Drew has and having two of the Big 12鈥檚 best players on its side with Norchad Omier and VJ Edgecombe.
