Cunningham stands alone at the top of a loaded senior class in Texas as the 5-foot-10, 175-pound shortstop is one of the best prep players in the entire country and is ranked as a in the 2025 MLB Draft. Cunningham has one of the best swings from the left side of the plate in the country, good speed and is solid defensively in the infield. His elite ability has been on full display recently with USA Baseball – where he was named MVP in the WBSC U18 World Cup Americas qualifier – USA Prime National and at Johnson High School in San Antonio. Last season, the first-team all-state standout hit .442 for the Jaguars with four home runs, 38 RBIs, 52 runs, 36 stolen bases and a .557 on-base percentage. The Texas commit possesses immense upside and will likely hear his name called early in July’s draft.
