Top 10 NCAA women鈥檚 basketball All-American candidates in 2025
6. Ta鈥橬iya Latson, Florida State
Latson鈥檚 name may be one of the bigger surprises on this list, but the junior has been a talented scorer from day one in Tallahassee. Latson averaged 21.3 points and 21.4 points in her freshman and sophomore seasons, respectively, while helping lead Florida State to NCAA Tournament appearances in both years. Latson鈥檚 play has improved further in 2024-25 with her 26.5 points per game leading the nation. The 5-foot-8 guard puts up a lot of shots, but she鈥檚 efficient overall with a career-best 49.3% shooting rate. Her 46.9% shooting from 3-point range is also among the best in the nation. Latson has the Seminoles poised for another trip to the big dance and it will be hard to overlook her as a first-team All-American if she still leads the country in scoring by the end of the season.
