Top 10 college football QBs returning for 2025 season
1. Cade Klubnik, Clemson
After a relatively average 2023 season, Klubnik took a big step forward in 2024 and helped Clemson to an ACC title and College Football Playoff berth. The Tigers will be a favorite to win their conference again in 2025 and could factor into the national championship conversation with Klubnik returning. This past season, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound standout threw for 3,629 yards – the 10th most in the country – 36 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 63.4% of his passes. He also ran for 463 yards and seven scores. Klubnik played his best football in Clemson’s biggest games, throwing for nearly 600 yards and seven scores in the ACC title game and the Tigers’ first-round playoff matchup. An uptick in his completion rate would make Klubnik more lethal, and the return of his top three wideouts has him set up for a career year.
