4. George Thompson (1966-69)
The Warriors finished runner-up in the 1967 NIT Tournament with the help of 18 points and 7.2 rebounds per game from Thompson during his first season with the program. He ended his time in Milwaukee averaging 20.4 points, which remains second in the school record books. Thompson鈥檚 No. 24 jersey was the second to be retired by Marquette.
