9. Jim McIlvaine (1990-94)
McIlvaine was a major paint presence during his collegiate career and led the Great Midwest Conference in blocks per game every season. He earned an NABC Defensive Player of the Year award his senior year and ended his time in Milwaukee as the school鈥檚 leader with 399 blocks, more than double any other player in program history. McIlvaine led Marquette to their first-ever conference championship in 1994, their first season as the Golden Eagles, concluding with a run to the Sweet 16.
