Scottre Humphrey transferring: 5 landing spots for RB
West Virginia Mountaineers
West Virginia is another team that has already offered Humphrey during his brief stay in the transfer portal and like North Carolina, the Mountaineers are also beginning a new era with Rich Rodriguez beginning his second stint in Morgantown. Rodriguez developed a special running back, Steve Slaton, during his first go-around at West Virginia, and his offenses have continued to highlight skilled rushers since, most recently Tre Stewart who ran for over 1,600 yards at Jacksonville State in 2024. That may make Morgantown an enticing destination for Humphrey, and the Mountaineers could use reinforcements to the position. WVU鈥檚 rushing attack recently got a boost with sophomore Jahiem White announcing that he is returning, but Humphrey could help replace the production left behind by CJ Donaldson Jr. who is transferring to Ohio State.
