Scottre Humphrey transferring: 5 landing spots for RB
Boise State Broncos
Boise State had a top-10 rushing offense in 2024 as the Broncos won 12 games and reached the College Football Playoff in Spencer Danielson’s second year. The catalyst for the Broncos’ success was dynamic running back Ashton Jeanty who ran for over 2,600 yards and 29 touchdowns as a Heisman finalist. Jeanty is off to the NFL, leaving a big hole in Boise State’s offense. Danielson has added former Fresno State running back Malik Sherrod through the transfer portal already, while freshmen Sire Gaines and Dylan Riley are also poised to make a jump in year two. However, Humphrey would give Boise State a true workhorse back like Jeanty, and he could thrive in the Broncos’ run-oriented offense. A move to Boise would also keep Humphrey relatively close to home for his junior season.
