ATHENS, Ga. (BVM) – Georgia QB Carson Beck made the stunning announcement Thursday that he will enter the NCAA transfer portal. The 6-foot-4 signal caller initially declared for the NFL draft, but after his underwhelming 2024 campaign, staying in college could be what is best for his future.
Cam Ward made a similar decision when he decided to transfer to Miami instead of going pro.

Beck’s numbers regressed this season, but he still threw for 3,485 yards with 28 touchdowns. He has first-round upside and will be coveted by the top schools in the country throughout his recruitment.Â
