2. Auburn Tigers
Auburn will not only be in a fight to win the SEC this season, but it also could continue battling for the No. 1 spot in the country. The Tigers have thrived during Bruce Pearl鈥檚 decade-long tenure, highlighted by a Final Four appearance in 2019. However, they haven鈥檛 made it to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament since. That could change in 2025 as Auburn has one of the deepest and most well-rounded rosters in the country. The Tigers鈥� offense ranks fifth in the nation, putting up over 88 points per game. Pearl鈥檚 team has also held its own defensively, ranking in the top 40 nationally, which was on display in wins over Houston, Iowa State, North Carolina, Memphis, Ohio State and Purdue. Numerous players are key to Auburn鈥檚 success, none more so than forward Johni Broome who is averaging over 18 points and 11 rebounds.
