Top 10 nominees on 2025 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame ballot
Shawn Marion
Marion is on the ballot once again and has an interesting Hall of Fame case that has been debated through the years, similar to former Phoenix Suns teammate, Amar鈥檈 Stoudemire. Marion was a top-10 pick in 1999 out of UNLV and immediately made a big impact alongside Stoudemire and Steve Nash in Phoenix, helping the Suns to several impressive campaigns in the 2000s. Marion was a four-time All-Star and was twice named All-NBA during his time in Phoenix. While a championship eluded him there, Marion finally claimed a title toward the end of his career with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. The 46-year-old from Illinois also won a gold medal in Athens in 2004, and the consistent 15.2 points and 8.7 rebounds that he averaged throughout his 16-year NBA career could eventually seal his spot in the Hall of Fame.
