Notre Dame closed the 2024 regular season with 10 consecutive wins and has once again remained in the national championship conversation in Marcus Freeman鈥檚 third year. The Fighting Irish鈥檚 offense has been solid throughout the year but may have a different look in 2025 with quarterback Riley Leonard out of eligibility. Notre Dame will likely see several senior receivers depart as well, including leading wideout Beaux Collins, Jayden Harrison and Jayden Thomas. Adding more pass-catching depth could become a priority for Freeman and the opportunity to lure a bonafide No. 1 receiver like Fields to South Bend could exist. Fields would be a nice complement to emerging sophomore Jaden Greathouse and would also provide a veteran presence for a potentially young starting quarterback in 2025.
